Media- session 2

For today’s class we were supposed to work on PR and communication and Fashion journalism. For the first task we were supposed to interview a friend and ask them about their shoe design. We were asked to form questions and interview each other in 15 mins each. I interviewed my friend Lathisha and it was very fun talking about each other and understanding each other’s creative working process. Then we were shown different layouts for the interview and asked to try different layout designs for the same.

Then we were briefed about Fashion PR and communication. We were explained how a brand advertises it’s products and USP in a unique and fruitful way. We were asked to brainstorm different ideas for a PR event for our shoe launch. Activities like pop-up events, exhibitions, collaborations are some of the most used PR ideas. The last task was to create a press release for the shoe we designed and a visual concept board of the PR event. It was a fun class and I enjoyed it.
