Session 11- Organising

For today’s class we were supposed to organise all the magazine contents we have created so far. We were supposed to put it in an A3 size page digitally so that it can be folded like a magazine. We were also shown multiple examples of magazine layouts and Suzanne did a recap of all the sessions we have done so far.

I started compiling my work on Adobe illustrator by creating A3 size art-boards and placing the contents in different layouts. I started putting the advertisements that I created before in a different way so that it blended with the page next to it. Creating the advertisement pages were really fun and I experimented with various styles, colours and images. My favourite was the Chanel ad I created with a perfume bottle on the other side of the page. I was able to understand the aesthetics of the images and which layout should be used. We were supposed to show Suzanne all the work we have done so far and also she checked our PPD journals and where we are at work wise.

Today’s class made me realise where I am falling behind and what all outcomes need improvement. It was a nice, reflective session and I decided to improve my working speed. I also decided to make a schedule of all the things I am supposed to complete before submission.
